What is Vigilance? It is the state of constantly being watchful of potential dangers or threats.
Vigilance is the first and a very important ingredient in personal protection and self defense. Being vigilant allows you to observe, recognize and take action against conflict and violence, potentially before they occur. Vigilance provides you with the observation skills to recognize danger and take action, operating Left of Bang.
It is a state of being constantly aware of your environment and assessing danger or threats in order to take action to avoid or minimize that danger. I call it being, turned on and tuned in. There is an excellent multi part article on the blog page about Vigilance, take a few minutes to read it.
VIGILANCE is the name of our class that focuses on developing the knowledge and skills to be alert and aware in your everyday life.
It is a multimedia presentation that can be presented to your organization, group or company that will teach people the following;
People often choose to pretend we do not have violence in our society. It is a scary topic and it is easier and more comfortable to avoid. We all know this is not a very realistic perspective. Violence is in the history of humanity, from the very beginnings of our existence to today's news headlines.
